Chamber Music Discoveries by Trio B3 Classic
Works by Robert Kahn, Jonathan FeBland, Rodney Newton, Jorge Grundman Isla and David Johnstone.
Since its formation in 1992 this trio of clarinet, cello and piano is one of the few stable, consolidated and well-known ensembles of this kind in Europe, and a reference in the present day musical panorama in Spain. “B3 Classic” draw attention to the history of the chamber music repertoire for these three instruments (they undertake valuable and creative investigative work) as well as involving itself in the more contemporary creation. Such fruits can be seen in the present disc – especially the recuperation of a wonderful romantic trio of Kahn (legacy of Brahms), and their championing of the English composers Jonathan S. FeBland and Rodney Newton. Their attitude has fully impressed Warner Music (Spain) who offer them future recordings.

Día Mundial del SIDA
El Trío B3 Classic presenta su nuevo CD:
“Chamber Music Discoveries”
A beneficio de Medicus Mundi tendrá lugar un concierto en Madrid, el próximo 4 de Diciembre a las 19:30 horas, en el Auditorio Conde Duque. El concierto servirá, además, como campaña de sensibilización en el día internacional del SIDA.
La entrada será libre hasta completar el aforo, siendo necesario recoger la invitación en la sede de Medicus Mundi en fechas que se anunciarán en esta página: www.nonprofitmusic.org.
Tras el concierto, podrá adquirirse a un precio especial el nuevo CD "Chamber Music Discoveries" del Trío B3 Classic, publicado por Warner Music. Los beneficios obtenidos serán destinados a Medicus Mundi. El concierto comenzará a las 19:30 horas. Una vez comenzado el acto, no será posible acceder a la sala.
El concierto será retransmitido por RTVE en fechas próximas y comprenderá algunas de las obras incluidas en este nuevo CD (entre las que se incluye la recuperación del trio op. 45 del compositor Robert Kahn, así como primeras grabaciones de obras de los compositores Febland, Newton, Grundman y Johnstone) junto con algunas piezas del nuevo proyecto discográfico del grupo.
